Built for the businesses that are compliance-regulated for the first time.
TrustAxis Advisory exists because most AML/CTF advice is written for people who already understand AML/CTF. We write and work for the ones who don't yet — and shouldn't have to become experts to stay compliant.
Why an independent firm
We are not affiliated with, and do not resell, any compliance software, KYC platform, or transaction-monitoring vendor. That's a deliberate choice. When we tell you your program works — or that it doesn't — that assessment isn't shaped by a product relationship on either side of it.
This matters most in the review work: if the same firm sells you a compliance tool and then certifies that your program is effective, the independence of that certification is fair to question. We stay out of that position entirely, on purpose.
Who we work with
Businesses starting their AML/CTF compliance from scratch — whether that's a Tranche 2 profession (lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, conveyancers, trust and company service providers) with no obligation before 1 July 2026, or a Tranche 1 business, like a crypto exchange or remittance provider, that's newly established and enrolling with AUSTRAC for the first time.
We also work with existing reporting entities that need an independent reviewer separate from whoever built their program, and with businesses that need audit and assurance work outside AML/CTF entirely.
Three things we hold ourselves to.
Plain English, always
If a finding or requirement can't be explained in a sentence a non-specialist understands, we haven't finished explaining it yet.
Right-sized, not generic
A sole practitioner and a 40-person firm don't need the same program. We scope to your actual risk, not a one-size template.
No surprises at sign-off
Findings are shared in draft first. Nothing lands in a final report you haven't already seen and discussed with us.
